Field Sales Officer – EV Batteries & Spare Parts

About the role

The Field Sales Officer will lead on‑field sales of CATL electric‑vehicle batteries and spare parts across the Kathmandu Valley. The role focuses on building relationships with dealers, fleet owners and institutional customers while identifying new business opportunities in the commercial‑vehicle segment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive on‑field sales of CATL EV batteries and battery spare parts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the EV commercial‑vehicle segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, fleet owners, institutional customers and other business partners.
• Generate leads, conduct customer visits and convert opportunities into sales.
• Coordinate and support marketing activities, promotional campaigns and customer‑engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and provide suitable battery solutions.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with insurance‑related stakeholders for insurance‑backed battery sales and replacement opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities, providing regular market feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, or a diploma/degree in Electrical, Automobile, Mechanical or related engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in the EV commercial‑vehicle segment, especially in sales or after‑sales operations.
• Basic understanding of lithium‑ion batteries, EV technology and charging systems is an advantage.
• Strong sales, negotiation and communication abilities with a focus on relationship building.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence; personal two‑wheeler preferred for regular field visits.
• Fluency in Nepali and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Knowledge of lithium‑ion battery technology.
• Familiarity with electric‑vehicle charging systems.
