HR Manager – Human Resources & Administration

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR and administration functions for a reputable organization in Kathmandu. The role ensures smooth payroll processing, compliance with Nepalese labour laws, effective recruitment, and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee employee onboarding, contracts, attendance, leave, and maintain confidential HR records.
• Coordinate monthly payroll, benefits, statutory deductions and liaise with Finance for accurate salary disbursement.
• Ensure compliance with Nepalese labour legislation and manage relationships with external legal and tax advisors.
• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment, from vacancy posting to offer preparation and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain performance appraisal tools, support quarterly reviews, and handle employee relations issues.
• Manage general office administration, procurement, travel logistics, and document control.
• Provide HR support for field‑based project teams, including travel and attendance tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a similar managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
