Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Manavsewa Ashram is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to lead recruitment, manage HR operations, and support employee development. The role combines strategic HR planning with day‑to‑day administration, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a culture of compassion and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Manage attendance, leave, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Implement, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Oversee performance management, staff development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness and transparency.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, Social Security Fund (SSF) regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Support organizational restructuring and provide HR data analytics for decision‑making.
• Supervise HR officers or assistants as needed.
• Lead HR digitalization projects and continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Prepare detailed HR reports and analytical insights for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese labor law, SSF, payroll management, and HR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HRMS tools.
