Modern Trade Sales Incharge

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Modern Trade Sales Incharge to lead and expand our presence across major organized retail channels in Kathmandu. The role focuses on managing key department store accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring optimal product visibility and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key modern trade and department store accounts, including Bhat‑Bhateni and other major retailers.
• Develop and execute account‑wise sales plans to meet revenue, volume, distribution and visibility targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management, buyers and category teams.
• Lead negotiations on listings, pricing, promotions, displays and commercial terms.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, merchandising, planograms and in‑store execution.
• Coordinate promotions, campaigns, new product launches and seasonal activities with retail partners.
• Track sales performance, market trends and competitor activities, preparing regular business reports.
• Collaborate with distributors, sales, marketing and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand presence across organized retail channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Modern Trade, Key Accounts, FMCG or Department Store sales.
• Direct experience handling Bhat‑Bhateni and/or major department stores is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of modern trade operations, retail sales, merchandising and promotional execution.
• Proven negotiation, account management, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Target‑oriented, proactive, commercially driven and capable of managing multiple key accounts.
