Online IELTS/PTE Instructor

About the role

The Online IELTS/PTE Instructor will deliver part‑time, remote classes to learners worldwide, helping them prepare for the IELTS and PTE exams. You will design and conduct interactive virtual lessons, explain exam formats, and guide students through listening, reading, writing, and speaking strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver online IELTS and PTE preparation lessons across different time zones.
• Explain exam structures, scoring criteria, and effective test‑taking strategies.
• Assess learner progress through practice tests, assignments, and feedback sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and adapt lesson plans to individual needs.
• Prepare and upload digital teaching materials and host live sessions using video‑conferencing platforms.
• Respond promptly to learner queries and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the academic team to update course content and ensure alignment with current exam standards.

Required profile

• Strong command of English, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic writing.
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring IELTS, PTE, or similar English proficiency exams, preferably online.
• Ability to design structured lesson plans and adjust teaching methods for varied proficiency levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field; teaching certifications (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) are a plus.
• Familiarity with current IELTS and PTE exam formats and official preparation materials.
• Reliable remote work setup with stable internet connection and a suitable home office.
