Power Engineer – EV Charging Infrastructure

About the role

The Power Engineer will design, install, commission, operate and maintain electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure for Awddel Holdings. The role ensures safe, reliable electrical systems and supports project execution across Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review AC and DC EV charger electrical systems, including load calculations and layouts.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare electrical drawings.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of charging stations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of charging equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide technical support.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors and project teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and as‑built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in power systems, electrical projects or EV charging infrastructure (fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions).
