Production & Quality Control Head

About the role

The Production & QC Head leads all manufacturing and quality activities, ensuring that production meets sales demand while adhering to strict food‑safety and quality standards. This senior position coordinates planning, execution, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on forecasts and customer orders.
• Monitor batch‑wise production for accuracy, traceability and compliance with standards.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures for raw materials, in‑process checks and finished‑goods inspection.
• Investigate quality issues, drive root‑cause analysis and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Approve incoming raw materials, manage storage, and ensure product shelf‑life and packaging quality.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to guarantee uninterrupted production flow.
• Supervise pest‑control and hygiene programs, maintaining records and regulatory compliance.
• Plan labor allocation, monitor productivity, and work with HR on onboarding and compliance.
• Maintain batch manufacturing records and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production and quality operations within a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food‑safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
