Project Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Sales Engineer to drive sales, build strong relationships with contractors and engineers, and deliver cost-effective technical solutions for our projects. The role involves strategic site visits, product demonstrations, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve assigned targets through strategic site visits, office visits, and industry engagements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, project managers, and key accounts.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations, consultations, and application‑based presentations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate, cost‑effective technical solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer accounts, follow‑ups, order coordination, and timely collections.
• Apply situational selling and value‑based selling techniques to support product adoption and increase sales.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Develop customer share of wallet through effective account management and solution selling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
• Experience in technical sales, B2B sales, industrial sales, construction, engineering products, or a related field.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain product applications to customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer‑handling skills.
• Willingness to conduct regular field/site visits and meet customers directly.
• Strong sales ownership, follow‑up discipline, and target‑oriented approach.
• Ability to build long‑term relationships with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer/project visits (advantage).
