Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Account Assistant to support the finance and accounting operations of our consultancy centre in Kathmandu. The role involves maintaining financial records, handling daily accounting tasks, and ensuring smooth financial processes across the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Visit banks for cheque clearing, cash deposits, withdrawals, and other banking activities.
• Handle accounting‑related transactions and financial documentation.
• Assist in arranging financing facilities and education loan documentation for students.
• Prepare and maintain receipts, payment vouchers, and expense records.
• Reconcile company bank statements and maintain financial accuracy.
• Oversee and record daily accounting transactions properly.
• Draft SOPs and support documentation processes when required.
• Maintain proper filing and record‑keeping of financial documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial and administrative tasks.
• Support senior accounting staff in daily financial operations.

Required profile

• At least 24 months (2 years) of experience in accounting or finance.
• Detail‑oriented and responsible.
• Ability to interact with banks and internal departments.
• Willingness to support senior accounting staff.
