Account Executive – Finance & Accounts

About the role

The Account Executive will support daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and compliance with company policies and regulations. Working within the Finance & Accounts department, the role collaborates with internal teams, vendors and clients to keep the organization’s financial data reliable and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records, including daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense entries, ensuring all data is captured promptly and accurately.
• Prepare journal and ledger entries, verify supporting documentation, and perform regular checks for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers, coordinate with suppliers, and reconcile supplier statements to ensure timely and correct payments.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor receivables, prepare aging reports, and follow up on overdue payments to support cash flow.
• Manage cash books, petty cash, and perform daily bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports and support month‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Ability to generate and analyze financial reports using Excel.
