Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support our finance team. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with Nepalese tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records for sales, purchases, receipts, payments and other transactions.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, bills, ledgers and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements such as income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Maintain VAT, TDS and other tax records and support timely tax filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, BBS, BBA or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Practical knowledge of Nepalese VAT, TDS and tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally.
