Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Finalist)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports audit, assurance, tax and advisory engagements for clients in Biratnagar. The Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant will work closely with senior team members to deliver high‑quality financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and documenting audit and assurance engagements, preparing working papers in line with professional standards.
• Perform tax computations, return filing and regulatory compliance reviews, and prepare related reports and schedules.
• Provide bookkeeping, accounting support, reconciliations and financial statement preparation, including offshore accounting and virtual CFO assignments.
• Contribute to internal audit, risk assessment and process review projects, coordinating with clients to gather information and maintain accurate timelines.

Required profile

• CA Finalist or semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant with solid foundation in accounting, auditing and taxation.
• Relevant articleship or prior experience in audit, taxation or accounting firms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and professional client interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Experience with ERP or cloud‑based accounting systems (advantageous).
• Ability to prepare working papers, reconciliations and financial schedules.
• Knowledge of statutory audit, internal audit, risk assessment and tax compliance procedures.
