Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead sales activities for pathology and diagnostic services across a defined region in Nepal. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role focuses on achieving revenue targets, building strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed regional revenue goals.
• Promote pathology lab services and identify new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.
• Lead, train, and monitor the performance of the on‑ground sales team.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres.
• Conduct market analysis to spot trends, competition and growth opportunities.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for the Regional Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure timely service delivery.
• Act as the primary client contact, addressing needs and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Plan and execute CME events, round‑table meetings and local promotional activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of relevant sales experience.
• Proven experience in healthcare, diagnostics or related services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
