Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to grow National Path Labs’ client network and promote its diagnostic services across hospitals, clinics, doctors and corporate customers in Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the healthcare sector, generating and qualifying leads through research, cold‑calling, networking and referrals.
• Promote the full range of pathology services offered by the lab and conduct meetings and presentations to showcase them.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with large‑scale corporate or institutional customers.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to design targeted sales strategies in collaboration with marketing and operations teams.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets, prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends and competitor actions, and keep client interaction records up‑to‑date in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and represent the lab at conferences, trade shows and networking events.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostic sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a results‑driven mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and events.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system to track leads and client interactions.
