Business Development Associate

About the role

The Business Development Associate will be the main commercial face of RentalBux, turning inbound and outbound leads into paying subscribers. You will deliver tailored product demos, guide prospects through the sales pipeline, and provide post‑sale onboarding and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live, customized product demonstrations, identify client requirements and match them to the appropriate RentalBux subscription.
• Prepare and send personalized follow‑up emails after each demo, including recorded session links and clear next steps.
• Handle technical and product queries via email and shared inbox, covering bank synchronization, invoicing, profit‑split, mileage allocation and MTD ITSA setup.
• Process GDPR erasure requests and respond to public Trustpilot reviews to protect brand reputation.
• Manage deals in HubSpot, re‑engage stale prospects, run outreach campaigns (including the Accountex accountant partner campaign) and move qualified leads to the demo stage.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, log meeting notes, objections, deal details and ownership in HubSpot.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in sales, business development or customer success.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to understand and explain property‑related tax and accounting concepts.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate CRM data.

Required skills

• HubSpot (CRM and sales pipeline management).
• Experience with GDPR compliance processes.
• Proficiency in drafting technical support emails and follow‑up communications.
