Business Development Executive – Accounting Software

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive the growth of our accounting software solution in Kathmandu. The role combines sales, client relationship management, and product support to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the accounting software.
• Generate leads through calls, networking, referrals and other channels.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain key features to potential clients.
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads into customers.
• Provide basic product support and assist clients with software‑related queries.
• Coordinate with the technical/product team to resolve customer issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Record leads, sales activities, customer feedback and follow‑ups.
• Stay updated on accounting software features and industry requirements.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting software sales and support (preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting, billing, inventory, taxation or business management software.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Good customer‑handling and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence in conducting product demonstrations and client meetings.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
