Business Development Officer – IT Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented Business Development Officer to drive growth for our technology solutions portfolio. You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and promote our web, mobile, cloud, and IT consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Research, network, and generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals and other channels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand client business needs and recommend suitable technology solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demos and follow‑ups.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and solution‑based presentations.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams to craft appropriate solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and conversion.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and report on business development activities.
• Research market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities in the tech sector.
• Negotiate commercial terms, support contract closure and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, IT or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales or client acquisition, preferably in the IT/software industry.
• Strong understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑oriented, proactive and self‑motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and follow‑ups effectively.
