Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. The role requires a results‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills to support our Sales & Business Development team in Kathmandu.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, meetings, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales reports, and monitor sales performance regularly.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, and negotiate service agreements with clients.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.
• Identify market trends and client needs to inform business development strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Mid‑level experience in business development, sales, or a similar client‑facing role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
