Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to accelerate growth by identifying new B2B opportunities, generating high‑quality leads, and nurturing long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities.
• Research potential clients and generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email, referrals and other channels.
• Maintain a strong prospect pipeline and schedule meetings via LinkedIn messages, emails and cold calls.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and service demonstrations.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and excellent service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, B2B sales or corporate sales.
• Proven track record in B2B client acquisition and lead generation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Professional, presentable personality with a target‑driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and outreach.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
