Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and target‑oriented Business Development Officer to promote and sell our technology products and solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with strong sales and marketing abilities to generate new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of IT solutions, software, and technology products across relevant markets.
• Identify prospective clients, generate leads, and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and client meetings based on customer requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of product features, technical capabilities, and practical applications.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to propose suitable solutions for client needs.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, RFP/RFQ responses, and other sales documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
• Maintain sales records, customer databases, pipeline updates, and regular sales forecasts.
• Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within IT, SaaS, software or technology industries.
• Good understanding of technology products, software solutions and IT services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business benefits for clients.
• Self‑driven, commercially focused and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
