Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will support business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with prospective students and partners, and promoting the consultancy’s education and study‑abroad services. The role involves lead generation, follow‑up, coordination with internal teams and contributing to the achievement of recruitment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to support student recruitment and company growth.
• Generate and follow up on leads through calls, messages, digital channels, events and other business development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions and business partners.
• Promote the company’s education, study‑abroad and related services.
• Coordinate with Counselling, Admission, Visa and Marketing teams to ensure effective lead conversion and client service.
• Support promotional campaigns, education fairs, seminars, workshops and other events.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow‑ups and business development activities in the company’s system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and potential business opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, activities and business development performance.
• Achieve assigned targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Required profile

• Knowledge of business development, sales, customer service and relationship management.
• Understanding of education and study‑abroad services and market trends.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to generate leads, build relationships and convert opportunities.
• Excellent follow‑up, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Capability to work with targets, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different departments.
