Business Development Officer – Tiles

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth for a reputable tiles manufacturing company. The role focuses on expanding market reach, building strong relationships with dealers and customers, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, architects, and contractors.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
• Promote tile products, new designs, schemes, and offers.
• Develop new dealers and expand the company’s market presence.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order processing and delivery.
• Follow up on payments and collections.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in tiles, ceramics, construction or building materials.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel for market visits and business development activities.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
