Category Head – E-commerce

About the role

The Category Head – E-commerce will lead the development and execution of category strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability and overall business performance across our online platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies, analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, margins, rebates, discounts and promotional schemes.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and brand partners, onboarding new brands to expand the portfolio.
• Oversee product assortment planning, merchandising, lifecycle management and catalog accuracy.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Warehouse and Operations to maintain optimal inventory levels and forecast demand.
• Monitor KPIs such as category revenue, gross margin, promotional ROI and prepare performance reports for senior management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the category management team, setting performance goals and ensuring accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Commercial Management, preferably in e‑commerce, retail or related industries.
• Proven track record in category strategy, vendor management, pricing and profitability management.
