Category Management Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a Category Management Trainee to support OneMart’s product catalogue and campaign operations. You will verify and publish SKUs, photograph and edit product images, and ensure catalogue data stays accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and update bulk SKUs by cross‑checking the product index with store records, correcting names, categories, pricing and stock details.
• Visit OneMart stores to photograph new products, capturing clear, well‑lit images for the online catalogue.
• Edit captured images in Canva following Foodmandu app guidelines, including cropping, background cleaning, resizing and branding.
• Upload edited images and match them to the correct SKU in the system.
• Create and maintain parent and sub‑categories, placing products in logical sections of the catalogue.
• Activate verified SKUs on the platform, making them live for purchase.
• Support recurring campaign updates, adding products to fortnightly promotions, updating featured and special‑offer sections weekly, and generating performance reports.
• Maintain detailed activity logs in Excel or Google Sheets for auditability.
• Communicate with OneMart store contacts via email to request specifications, pricing and stock information for new SKUs.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic trainee with interest in e‑commerce product management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with store staff.

Required skills

• Canva for image editing.
• Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
