Catering Sales Assistant

About the role

Bagaichā is seeking a motivated Catering Sales Assistant to support its catering and events sales operations in Kathmandu. The role involves handling client inquiries, preparing quotations, and coordinating events with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in handling catering and event sales inquiries from clients.
• Coordinate with clients regarding menus, packages, quotations, and event requirements.
• Support the preparation and follow‑up of quotations, proposals, and contracts.
• Maintain records of leads, client communications, bookings, and follow‑ups.
• Assist in coordinating catering events with the F&B, operations, and service teams.
• Follow up with prospective clients and support conversion of inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with corporate and individual clients.
• Support sales activities, promotional initiatives, and business development efforts.
• Perform other sales and event coordination duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, catering, events or hospitality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English and Nepali, both written and spoken.
• Good organizational and follow‑up abilities.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and target‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days when required.
