Chartered Accountant – Audit & Assurance (Banking & Insurance)

About the role

S. Subedi & Associates is looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join its audit and assurance team. The role focuses on banking and insurance clients, offering the chance to develop risk‑based audit expertise in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, structure, and execute risk‑based audit strategies for client engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise field audit teams to ensure high‑quality execution and timely delivery.
• Review audit files, finalize working papers, and maintain rigorous quality control.
• Draft clear management letters and formal audit reporting packages.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (newly qualified or fresher; ICAN/ICAI accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on audit experience in the banking and insurance sectors, gained during articleship or practical training.
• Demonstrated experience with loan portfolio reviews or NFRS‑based reporting for BFIs.
• Proven ability to supervise audit teams on‑site and manage client relations effectively.
