Chief Financial Officer – Operations

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer – Operations will lead the finance function for a fast‑growing pharmaceutical manufacturer. Based in Kathmandu, this full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring and timely reporting to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation across the organization.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with cGMP, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Lead finance operations, including treasury, accounting, tax and audit coordination.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, production, quality and R&D teams to align financial objectives with operational goals.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate finance leadership, preferably in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing or healthcare.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing finance teams and work cross‑functionally.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills at executive and operational levels.
