Clothing Retail Merchandising Associate

About the role

The Clothing Retail Merchandising Associate supports the merchandising team by ensuring product availability, optimal store presentation and accurate sales reporting. This role works closely with store staff, warehouses and the merchandising manager to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing clothing products, maintaining up‑to‑date product information such as styles, colors, sizes, prices and SKUs.
• Monitor stock levels across retail outlets, support replenishment, inter‑store transfers and conduct regular stock counts.
• Track daily and weekly sales performance, prepare reports and analyse trends to identify fast‑moving, slow‑moving and out‑of‑stock items.
• Implement visual merchandising guidelines, set up window displays, mannequins, signage and ensure new collections are presented on schedule.
• Execute seasonal promotions, discounts and clearance sales, coordinating with store teams and monitoring stock during campaigns.
• Communicate regularly with store staff, collect feedback on customer demand and escalate any merchandising issues.
• Conduct market and competitor visits, gather information on pricing, promotions and emerging fashion trends.
