Commission Sales Associate

About the role

The Commission Sales Associate will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, promoting KAMALA FOODS' product range to retail and wholesale customers. The role focuses on prospecting, presenting, and closing sales to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential buyers in the local market.
• Visit retail and wholesale customers, explain product features, pricing and benefits.
• Process orders, follow up on leads and inquiries, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve basic service issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams on inventory availability, delivery schedules, and payment collection.

Required profile

• Strong prospecting and relationship‑building abilities with a customer‑service mindset.
• Comfortable with frequent field visits, basic territory planning and time management.
• Clear, professional communication in local languages; English proficiency is a plus.
• Basic numeracy for handling invoices, payments and simple sales reporting.
• Motivated by performance‑based earnings, resilient, goal‑oriented and good at negotiation.
• Prior FMCG or food‑product sales experience preferred but not mandatory; local market knowledge of Kathmandu is advantageous.
• Minimum high‑school education; a diploma or degree in business, marketing or related field is beneficial.
