Content Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Content Developer to own end‑to‑end video production, from planning and shooting to editing high‑quality video assets. The role supports WorldLink’s marketing campaigns, product promotions, corporate communications and social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit video content for social media, TVCs, launches, testimonials, events and internal communications.
• Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones and lighting/audio equipment for professional shoots.
• Edit footage using Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, tailoring formats for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to conceptualise videos that align with campaign goals.
• Cover events, branch openings, product launches and exhibitions, including occasional weekends or holidays.
• Maintain equipment, manage footage backups and keep an organised archive.
• Travel within and outside Kathmandu Valley for shoots as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Journalism, Marketing or a related field (strong portfolio may substitute).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on videography and editing experience, preferably in an agency, media house or corporate in‑house team.
• Strong, demonstrable portfolio/show‑reel.
• Fluent in Nepali and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent time‑management and cross‑team communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator (plus).
• Hands‑on operation of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones and lighting/audio setups.
• Basic motion graphics and animation capabilities.
