Contract Review Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Review Subject Matter Expert to work on an hourly, remote contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated contract analyses, provide precise feedback, and create high‑quality contract content that guides model improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop gold‑standard contract prompts, issue lists, redlines, negotiation notes, and clause rewrites for AI training.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and practical negotiation usefulness.
• Test AI outputs for errors, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias across a variety of commercial agreements.
• Fact‑check legal concepts, cite sources when required, and produce clear explanations for non‑legal audiences.

Required profile

• JD/LLB (or equivalent) or extensive paralegal/contracts experience.
• 5+ years of professional contract review in in‑house legal, law firm, procurement, vendor management, legal ops, or contracts management.
• Proven ability to identify and explain key contract risks such as liability caps, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, IP ownership, and privacy/security clauses.
• Strong attention to detail, C1‑level English proficiency, and reliable self‑direction in a remote workflow.

Required skills

• Expertise in reviewing and redlining MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Ability to produce clear, practical guidance and “gold‑standard” redlines for non‑legal stakeholders.
