Creative Videographer

About the role

One or Eight is seeking a Creative Videographer to join its Kathmandu studio. The role involves planning, shooting and producing high‑quality video content for sports‑focused and branded storytelling projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and produce video content on location and in‑studio.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers and editors to develop shot lists and storyboards.
• Review, organize and log footage, ensuring it meets brand and project objectives.
• Contribute to visual style, composition and overall storytelling direction.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to technical standards throughout production.

Required profile

• Proven experience in video production, from concept to delivery.
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Relevant education or training in film, media production, or equivalent professional experience.
• Interest in sports and sports media is a plus.

Required skills

• Camera operation and handling of camera equipment.
• Lighting techniques for varied environments.
• Video production workflow management.
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
