Finance & Administration Officer

About the role

Pathibhara Engineering seeks a detail‑oriented Finance & Administration Officer to support its construction and engineering projects. The role combines project cost accounting, statutory compliance, and daily administrative tasks to ensure financial discipline and operational transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project‑wise cost accounts, monitor expenditures against approved budgets, and prepare cost reports for management.
• Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Verify vendor invoices, subcontractor bills, and site petty‑cash expenses.
• Prepare and file monthly VAT, TDS (ETDS) and other statutory tax returns in accordance with Nepalese regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, manage company registrations, licenses, and tax clearance certificates.
• Assist management with banking documentation, guarantees, and financing requirements.
• Oversee office administration, utility payments, and document management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or engineering accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation and financial reporting standards.
• Mid‑level professional with a relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
