Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

Lead global finance operations for Trilogy while staying hands‑on with the core accounting work. You will oversee a team of Senior Accountants, ensure accuracy of invoices, payments and reconciliations, and use AI‑driven automation to continuously improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Keep finance operations moving through Senior Accountants, prioritising work by deadlines, business impact and financial risk.
• Inspect dashboards and outputs to verify accuracy of bills, invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes and write evidence‑based coaching to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and embed AI, LLMs and automation tools to eliminate manual work and boost speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and a recognised professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with at least five Big 4 audits, either as auditor or client.
• Finance experience in an organisation with $100M+ revenue and direct people‑management responsibility.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR, bank reconciliations and revenue/spend allocation.
• Proven ability to prioritise and allocate operational finance work across a team.
• Experience embedding AI or LLM tools into high‑volume finance workflows with measurable efficiency gains.
