Front Office Assistant

About the role

Vasista Hospitality, a data‑driven hotel consultancy operating in India and Nepal, is seeking a Front Office Assistant to join its team at its Ilam, Nepal property. The role involves delivering high‑quality guest service and supporting daily front‑office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, manage room assignments and perform fast check‑in/check‑out procedures.
• Answer phone calls, reply to emails, route messages and provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate logs, update room‑status data and assist the front office manager with reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and food‑and‑beverage teams to meet special guest needs.
• Process cash or card transactions, post charges and manage safe‑deposit boxes.

Required profile

• BHM or DHM qualification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar front‑office position.
• Professional grooming and a welcoming demeanor.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Excellent multitasking and organization under busy conditions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Good computer literacy.
