Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Hulas Group is seeking an experienced finance leader to serve as Group Chief Financial Officer. The role will provide strategic financial direction for the entire group and its operating companies, supporting growth and governance across diversified sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership across the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Lead group‑wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, cash‑flow management, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Consolidate and analyse financial performance, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, controls and governance frameworks.
• Manage working‑capital, liquidity, investment and financing strategies.
• Collaborate with business heads on performance evaluation, project viability, investments and risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen financial discipline, transparency, risk management and cost optimisation.
• Lead and develop the Group Finance & Accounts team and support the Board with strategic analysis.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounts experience, including senior finance leadership.
• CA / ICAI or equivalent professional qualification; MBA/Finance qualification is a plus.
• Strong experience in group finance, consolidation, budgeting, treasury, taxation, audit and management reporting.
• Background in diversified business groups, manufacturing, infrastructure, construction or project‑based organisations preferred.
• Deep understanding of financial controls, governance, risk management and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership and manage multiple business entities.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
