Head of Medicine, Protocols & Clinical Operations

About the role
This strategic clinical leadership position is within a well‑established non‑invasive wellness organization in Nepal. The role blends medical expertise with preventive health, lifestyle transformation, metabolic health, and aesthetic wellness services. As the Clinical Director/Medical Director, you will act as the primary medical authority, shaping evidence‑based protocols, clinical governance, patient safety, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and continuously improve clinical protocols for weight management, metabolic health, preventive care, lifestyle medicine and non‑invasive aesthetic services.
- Serve as the chief medical authority for complex cases involving obesity, metabolic syndrome and related comorbidities.
- Provide clinical guidance for conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, PCOS and hypothyroidism.
- Establish and maintain high standards of clinical safety, quality, ethical practice and treatment effectiveness across all outlets.
- Develop, review and monitor SOPs, treatment guidelines, risk‑management procedures and quality‑assurance systems.
- Lead evaluation and integration of emerging non‑invasive technologies sourced from international markets.
- Collaborate with R&D to assess safety, scientific validity and effectiveness of new technologies before rollout.
- Build, lead, train and mentor a multidisciplinary clinical team including therapists, diet consultants and frontline professionals.
- Conduct regular clinical audits, performance reviews, training sessions and quality assessments.
- Work with teleconsultation and digital health teams to create scalable clinical workflows and support EMR implementation.
- Provide strategic clinical input for expanding preventive health, wellness, metabolic health and aesthetic services.
Required profile
- Medical expertise in obesity, metabolic syndrome and related chronic lifestyle conditions.
- Experience managing complex client cases involving metabolic health disorders.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Background in clinical governance, safety and quality assurance.
Required skills
