Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician

About the role

The company, a leading provider of telecommunications and networking equipment, is seeking a Mechanical Technician specialized in heavy equipment. The role involves maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and machinery used in the production and deployment of network infrastructure at the Baluwatar site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles and related machinery.
• Repair mechanical faults, replace worn components, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any recurring issues to engineering supervisors.
• Coordinate with the operations team to schedule downtime and minimize impact on network projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of practical experience in heavy vehicle or machinery maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
