Hotel Receptionist

About the role

Our 5‑star luxury hotel is seeking a friendly and presentable Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests. The position is ideal for BHM students or early‑career hospitality professionals looking for hands‑on front‑office exposure and flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and walk‑ins professionally.
• Manage front‑desk operations including phone calls, emails and basic documentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure smooth guest service.
• Maintain accurate guest records and process payments (cash/card).
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and ensure the reception area remains clean and organized.

Required profile

• BHM students (ongoing or completed) or 6–12 months experience in hotel reception, front office or customer service.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and a professional appearance are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Familiarity with hotel Property Management System (PMS) is an advantage.
