Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and people‑oriented Human Resources Officer to manage day‑to‑day HR activities for our hydropower projects across Nepal. The role supports effective workforce management and ensures compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and maintain employee documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Handle attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and other HR administration tasks.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
• Coordinate training, development, and employee welfare programs.
• Assist management with workforce planning and related HR matters.
• Lead talent acquisition through headhunting and networking.
• Address employee grievances with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Responsible and people‑oriented professional with at least three years of HR experience.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage HR databases.
• Experience handling attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
• Proven skills in employee relations, performance management, and staff engagement.
• Knowledge of HR policy development and labor law compliance.
• Capability to coordinate training, development, and welfare programs.
• Excellent confidentiality and fairness when handling employee grievances.
