Institutional Sales Officer

About the role

The Institutional Sales Officer will drive institutional and project sales across the assigned territory, developing new business opportunities and managing key stakeholder relationships. The role requires close coordination with internal teams to ensure successful project conversion and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and revenue targets for the territory.
• Identify and develop new institutional and project business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, developers, government bodies and institutional customers.
• Conduct site mapping, project tracking and site evaluations to monitor opportunities.
• Manage the project pipeline from lead generation to order closure.
• Coordinate with Retail, Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Finance teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor competitor activities and gather market intelligence.
• Prepare and submit regular market visit, sales, pipeline, project and MIS reports.
• Ensure CRM updates and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree (MBA preferred).
• 2‑3 years experience in Institutional/Project Sales or B2B Sales within the manufacturing or paint industry.
