Interior Design & Supervision – Five Star Hotel

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for developing interior design concepts and supervising the fit‑out of a five‑star hotel in Kathmandu. The role ensures that guest rooms, suites, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the hotel’s brand standards, quality benchmarks and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for guest rooms, suites, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Review and integrate architectural, MEP and structural drawings to ensure constructability and compliance with hotel brand standards.
• Supervise day‑to‑day interior fit‑out works on site, inspecting workmanship, finishes, and FF&E installations.
• Maintain quality‑control procedures, conduct inspections, issue punch lists and oversee snagging, testing and handover activities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and hotel operations to resolve design conflicts and keep the project on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in luxury hospitality interior fit‑out and site supervision, preferably on five‑star hotel projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, joinery and FF&E coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp and 3D visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Revit.
• Ability to use Photoshop for presentation and mood‑board creation.
