Junior Accountant – Day-to-Day Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our daily accounting and financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and assisting with reporting and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry in accounting software.
• Conduct bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Vouch and verify financial transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and periodic closing tasks.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients on payment and invoice queries.
• Handle banking activities, including deposits and bank visits.
• Support taxation, statutory compliance, and related accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Own a bike or scooter and possess a driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
