Market Equipment Executive – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

The Market Equipment Executive will oversee verification, auditing, commissioning and performance monitoring of commercial refrigeration equipment such as visi coolers and refrigerators installed at retail outlets. The role ensures equipment functionality, identifies maintenance gaps and supports technical troubleshooting while coordinating with field technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct verification and auditing of commercial refrigeration equipment at retail locations.
• Inspect installations, support commissioning and operational testing of new units.
• Monitor equipment performance, collect preventive‑maintenance data and analyse records to spot technical issues.
• Coordinate with technicians for troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance activities.
• Prepare regular technical inspection reports and maintain accurate equipment logs.
• Travel to assigned outlets for inspections and provide on‑site technical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a technical field, preferably with commercial refrigeration.
• Valid motorcycle licence and ability to ride a bike for field visits.
• Willingness to travel regularly to retail outlets.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) systems.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment, visi coolers and refrigerators.
• Proficiency in equipment verification, auditing, commissioning and operational testing.
• Ability to perform preventive‑maintenance planning and maintenance data analysis.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
