Market Equipment Executive – Mechanical/Electrical

About the role

The Market Equipment Executive is responsible for verification, auditing, commissioning and performance monitoring of commercial refrigeration equipment such as visi coolers and refrigerators installed at retail outlets. The role ensures equipment functionality, identifies maintenance gaps, supports technical troubleshooting and coordinates with field technicians to maintain operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct verification and auditing of commercial refrigeration equipment at retail locations.
• Inspect installations, support commissioning and operational testing of new units.
• Monitor equipment performance, collect preventive‑maintenance data and analyse records to spot technical issues.
• Coordinate with technicians for troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance activities.
• Prepare regular technical inspection and performance reports and ensure compliance with organisational procedures.
• Travel to assigned retail outlets for equipment inspection and technical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical field, preferably with commercial refrigeration.
• Valid motorcycle licence and ability to ride a bike for field visits.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) systems.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment, including visi coolers and refrigerators.
• Skills in equipment installation, commissioning and operational testing.
• Ability to perform equipment verification, inspection and auditing.
• Proficiency in preventive‑maintenance procedures and performance monitoring.
• Capability to collect, maintain and analyse technical maintenance data.
