MEAL Coordinator – Humanitarian Response

About the role

The MEAL Coordinator will lead the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning function for World Vision Nepal’s 12‑month Flash Flood Response (NFFR 2026) covering Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. The role focuses on establishing robust assessment, monitoring, data management and learning systems to support 25,000 beneficiaries, including 10,000 children.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement assessments, surveys and evaluations, develop tools and digital platforms, and analyse findings for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems, conduct field visits, and produce post‑distribution monitoring reports.
• Establish community feedback mechanisms, analyse feedback, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Lead information management, maintain activity and beneficiary tracking systems, and ensure data quality through regular assessments.
• Coordinate with partner NGOs, provide technical guidance, and support recruitment and onboarding of MEAL staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring, survey design and data analysis within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Bachelor’s degree in development studies or a related field.
• Experience working in an I/NGO, UN or bilateral environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SharePoint for data tracking and collaboration.
• Experience using CommCare for field data collection.
• Ability to develop dashboards and visualisations in Power BI.
• Knowledge of data quality assessment methods and digital MEAL tools.
