Outbound Sales Officer

About the role

The Outbound Sales Officer will join Gomayu Holidays, a Kathmandu‑based travel agency, to support international holiday bookings. This early‑career position involves handling client enquiries across phone, email, WhatsApp and social media, and preparing tailored itineraries, costings and quotations under senior guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries via multiple channels and follow up on leads.
• Prepare detailed itineraries, costings and quotations for destinations such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, Kenya, China and the Maldives.
• Assist with visa documentation, hotel reservations and coordination with airline and local suppliers.
• Maintain client records using CRM or lead‑tracking tools and ensure accurate data entry.
• Provide on‑trip support and be reachable for urgent matters during peak seasons.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in the travel industry or relevant internship/on‑the‑job training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism Management, Hotel Management, BBA or related field.
• Basic understanding of package tours, hotels, airlines, visa processes and agency operations.
• Familiarity with popular holiday destinations and itinerary building.
• Clear communication in English and Nepali, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience or willingness to learn a CRM/lead‑tracking system.
