Programme Coordinator – Nepal Flash Flood Response

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is seeking a Programme Coordinator to lead the Nepal Flash Flood Response 2026 in the districts of Rasuwa and Nuwakot. The role will design, plan, monitor and adapt the emergency response, ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards and effective use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate response planning and programme design, maintaining the response logframe, indicators and alignment with Sphere and CHS standards.
• Manage resource allocation, funding tracking and grant compliance in partnership with Finance and Operations.
• Oversee MEAL activities, including needs assessments, monitoring systems (CommCare, KoBo) and reporting to donors and partners.
• Lead information management, ensuring accurate data flow, analysis and timely reporting.
• Supervise the MEAL Officer and Information Management Officer, providing coaching and performance management.

Required profile

• Minimum five years professional experience in humanitarian or development programming.
• At least two years experience in programme coordination, grant management or MEAL functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MEAL tools and platforms such as CommCare and KoBo.
• Strong grant management and compliance tracking abilities.
• Data analysis and reporting skills for internal and donor reports.
• Knowledge of international humanitarian standards (Sphere, CHS) and disaster management indicators.
