QA Manager – Lead Quality Assurance Teams

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, leadership‑focused QA Manager to own our quality strategy, drive hiring and mentoring, and oversee test review processes across multiple engineering teams. You will ensure that every stage of software development meets the highest quality standards, especially within the US healthcare domain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an end‑to‑end quality strategy covering manual and automation testing frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and develop QA engineers across several teams.
• Establish quality standards, best‑practice testing methods, and automation strategies.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and report to leadership.
• Plan QA resources, manage hiring, onboarding, and performance.
• Review test artifacts (plans, cases, automation scripts) and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to embed quality into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Drive innovation in data QA and complex business‑logic testing for US healthcare applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software QA experience and at least 1 year in a QA Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare regulations (HIPAA/PHI, HEDIS, claims, EHR/interoperability) is a plus.

Required skills

• Functional, non‑functional, manual, regression, smoke, acceptance, load, performance, and security testing.
• Writing clear test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• RDBMS and SQL query writing.
• Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Automation testing and AI‑driven testing concepts; hands‑on with Claude Code or Codex preferred.
