Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) acts as the bridge between lead generation and the senior sales team. You will engage qualified prospects via email and phone, qualify their needs, and schedule meetings for senior sales colleagues. The role ensures every prospect is verified, contacted, and handed over with clear next steps.

Key responsibilities

• Verify prospect information and ensure contact details are up‑to‑date before outreach.
• Conduct structured outbound outreach through email, telephone and approved sales channels, personalising each message.
• Make regular cold‑calling activities across assigned international markets, introducing company solutions and handling initial objections.
• Screen prospects on qualification criteria, prioritising based on size, credibility, urgency and commercial potential.
• Book qualified meetings in senior sales calendars, confirm with prospects and manage cancellations or rescheduling.
• Maintain accurate prospect records in the CRM, logging calls, emails, outcomes and next actions.
• Follow approved scripts, templates and reporting processes, providing regular performance updates.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in B2B sales development, inside sales, telemarketing or a similar outbound sales role.
• Proven ability to conduct cold calls and engage business decision‑makers.
• Strong spoken and written English with confidence communicating with international prospects.
• Ability to manage a consistent volume of outreach while maintaining quality.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for tracking prospect activity.
